At Wags K9 Services we offer the following training courses – Dog Grooming, Taster Days, Learn to groom your own dog & Animal first aid.

Learn to groom your own dog workshop
This is a great course for either owners who wish to learn how to groom their own dog or for people who wish to get a taster before committing to one of the longer courses.
You will be taught how to groom your dog from start to finish, how to health check your dog, advise on coat management for looking after your dog’s coat in-between grooms & dealing with any minor matting that may occur. This will also give you an insight into what goes on in a grooming salon & it will give you/your dog more confidence when visiting the groomers therefore making their visit to the groomers more pleasant and enjoyable which benefits the health and wellbeing of your dog & gives you peace of mind.
All participants will be provided with an information booklet, have before and after pictures and all equipment and overalls will be supplied.
Cost is £250
*Owners are required to bring their own dog
K9 1st Aid Training
Work or Live with a dog? Dog First Aid Training equips you with essential skills to apply First Aid to your Dog should the need arise.
On completion of this qualification, you will:
- Understand the role of the animal first aider.
- Know common injuries and reasons for a sudden collapse in dogs.
- Understand how to provide emergency care for animals.
- Be able to provide immediate first aid care to an animal.
Cost is £59.95
Dog Grooming Taster Day
We offer Dog Grooming taster days to allow people to come along and see how to train to become a dog groomer. These are a great idea for people who want to see if dog grooming is something they want a career in.
The cost of the day is £140
Time 10am till 4pm
Dog Grooming Course:
Course fees are £3400.00 which includes a scissor set, grooming tunic, breed standard cutting guides & business set up paperwork which are all yours to keep worth approximately £450.
